Our Anodize Touch Up Kit is ideal for repairing scratched or damaged black anodized parts. Simply clean, repair and seal. No fumes, no heating required. Parts are repaired in minutes.
Save thousands over stripping and re-anodizing damaged parts. Much better than using a black marker or paint, the solution chemically converts the aluminum into a black color with a permanent repair. Won't chip, peel or rub off.
Please note, this process only colours the aluminium black, it does not replace the anodise.

ANODIZE TOUCH UP KIT INSTRUCTIONS

Our Anodize Touch Up Kit is ideal for repairing damaged or scratched black anodize finishes, without having to strip and re-anodize the entire part. Application is simple.
Step 1:
Clean the area to be repaired with the included cleaning solution. Use a Q-Tip, brush, toothbrush etc. Perform a waterbreak test to check for cleanliness. Repeat as necessary to ensure cleanliness. Do not clean more than necessary as the process will remove existing anodise if overcleaned. Rinse with water.
Step 2:
Swab the area to be repaired with the repair liquid, keeping the area wet with solution for 30-90 seconds. Rinse with water and buff lightly with a soft cloth to remove any powdery residue. Repeat as many times as desired to achieve the depth of color to match the existing finish.
Step 3:
Seal the blackened area with the included sealer. Allow to air dry for approximately 10 minutes before handling. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to accelerate drying.
